Hands On Homework

This weeks Hands-on Homework is to find out about something you don't know.

Last week Maia S took a book home called The Hohoi. It's all about birds. Maia said to me, "Mum and Dad learned something they didn't know from the book. They didn't know that the older a bird is the less water proof its wings are." I asked Maia, "What makes a birds wings waterproof? Maybe you could find that out at home with your mum and dad." Maia had a great idea and thought this could be this weeks Hands-on Homework.

You don't have to find out what makes a birds wings waterproof. You can find out about anything that you want to know that you don't already know!

I wonder what you'll find out?
